Without a supported graphics card, previews render on the processor instead, with the same result. The machine learning models (depth, smart selection, noise reduction, object removal and the assistant) are optional downloads, fetched only when you ask. Large photographs, stacks and panoramas use more memory: Heeler checks each job against the memory your computer has and says so when one will not fit.
